The bee and embroidery museum

The Bee and Embroidery Museum in the village of Kato Drys [Kato Dhrys] is housed in a traditional 300-year-old stone house.

This museum is home to over one thousand antique items including old farming equipment, household tools, and furniture as well; all of which gives one an insight into Cypriot culture and the way Cypriot families once lived.

Furthermore, visitors to the museum can learn everything about bees and beekeeping, and also watch the process of how wine and Zivania is produced during the grape harvest season.

In an additional neoclassic house situated on the property there is also an exhibit of traditional lace and embroidery together with other vintage artefacts that visitors can enjoy.
